The 2009 Downeast Ophthalmology Symposium Starts October 2, and will be going on through October, 4 in Bar Harbor, Maine. This will be the first year that Glacial Multimedia Inc.  plans to be an exhibitor at this event. After 8 years in existence, this annual ophthalmology meeting has become a favorite for many eye surgeons across the entire country. Downeast Ophthalmology Symposium is not a regional meeting by any standard and has attendees coming from all parts of of the Country. UCLA's Kevin Miller, MD of the Jules Stein Eye Institute will be in attendance as one of the major keynote speakers. Friday Night at the event should be exciting! After a half day of CME courses exhibitors and physicians will assemble for a boat cruise and then a Lobster Bake. Bar Harbor is a unique place on the coast of maine that is home to Acadia National Park. Cadillac Mountain is one of the main attractions in Bar Harbor and is a mountain right on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean.
