Thank You For Making Project Vision 2012 Possible

The following people and organizations have been instrumental in making Project Vision 2012 possible by way of hard work and financial contributions:

The Partners at Glacial Multimedia, Inc.: Michael Dobkowski, Maxim Havlicek, and Onur Birsen. To Michael, for having the heart to invest the time and resources of Glacial Multimedia, Inc. into a humanitarian effort, and for choosing me to get the ball rolling. To all three of the Partners, for giving of their personal income to this mission, and for their generosity in sending two of their employees to Honduras for a week. Their sacrifices have exponentially altered the course of life for the people of San Lorenzo.

Surgical Eye Expeditions (SEE) International: For your generosity in providing the equipment crucial to a surgical medical mission, as well as for providing a forum in which Ophthalmologists and other health care providers can find opportunities to volunteer their medical skills in humaniatrian efforts around the world.

Dr. Carlos E. Martinez, LA Eye Surgeon, Volunteer Medical Mission Doctors E. Martinez from Eye Physicians of Long Beach, California. Specializing in LASIK, Cataract and Oculoplastic Eye Surgery. Had it not been for his sharing the stories of his volunteer work with Michael during a chance business visit, Glacial Multimedia, Inc. might never have had this rewarding opportunity to be a part of Project Vision’s medical mission. His sincere heart for helping others is apparent to everyone he comes into contact with. “Que Dios te bendiga, que tu puedes continuar les ayuda.”

Dr. Ron David of Richmond, Virginia. Specializing in Pediatric Neurology. As a co-founder of the Kurtz Humanitarian Initiative for Southwest Honduras, he is the heart and soul of Project Vision. Dr. Jim Wheatley of Concord, North Carolina. In four years of retirement, he has participated in more than twelve medical missions trips, to places including: Bolivia, Peru, Mexico, Ecuador, Viet Nam, and Honduras. His technical expertise in the Operating Room, combined with his kind nature made him an invaluable part of the team.

Dr. Brian Spittle and Dr. Norma Spittle, owners of The Eye Place Optometry in Midlothian, Virginia. Specializing in Pediatric Optometry and catering to the Hispanic community in their area. In eight years of marriage, they have been on ten medical missions trips together, to places including: The Amazon, Rio de Janeiro, Belize, Guatemala, Canada, and Honduras. They are an extraordinary couple. Their heart for helping others is evident in their actions, and may they continue to be a light to those who are in the dark.
